Looking to spend your vacation in a natural, peaceful and restful
setting . . . but wanting to actually DO something positive
. . . and different?
Then
a few days or weeks at Quinta Pintados might well be the answer!
Set
in the spectacular scenery of the Serra de Monchique, in the
South-west corner of Portugal (and
Europe), we're in the ideal location to provide a 'chill-out'
holiday. We have no immediate neighbours and are served by a
good, but little used road. For a significant proportion of
most days we can see and hear NO sign of the hustle and bustle
of the conventional human world . . . that many want to get
away from once or twice a year.
We
provide a peaceful base for you to sleep and walk, sit &
reflect . . . or to share in our campo life: working the land,
tending orchards and areas of forest. It might be picking fruit
and making chutney, pruning or irrigating the trees, clearing
forest land and using the timber to construct a seat or . .
. you can never quite be sure when you live on a mountainside!

We
can provide all food or can recommend restaurants within the
local area. You choose what you'd like us to provide . . . and
how much time you'd like to offer us. Quite realistically, the
more time you put in the less we charge you for your board and
lodging!
